When I'm finished with final exams and all. I don't understand why they have to be on the very last week of school.

It took me quite a while to find how to add a new blog. :)

That aside, I have a huge dilenma. I'm not sure what AP science I want to take next year. Being an asian, I tripled up in science this year in chemistry, physics, and earth/space science. OK that last two was mandatory, but still, chemistry is a class reserved for normal (and by normal, I mean the majority) juniors. Because of this, I have to take an AP science next year AND senior year, even though the high school IB requirement is 4 credits of science.

I also went and took French II in my freshman year, so I'm ahead in French as well. Being in IB, we zip through 1.5 books in a year. My french teacher is an insane nazi. JK. I love my french teacher, but dannnng she teaches fast and she teaches hard! At the rate we're going, I'll be in French IV IB next year which is really French V in normal, non-IB schools.

These are the academic oddities. Besides these, I have an immense obsession and love for art, so I'll be taking IB Art Higher Level next year.

Having made these nerdy choices, I've came to the conclusion that I'm screwed for next year. My chemistry teacher is known for breaking his AP Chem students. AP Bio's not much better, and I have no interest what-so-ever in AP Physics. I've heard so many horror stories about AP Chem and the sad part is, they're not just stories. They're based on real events. O_O Basically AP Chem is a killer, even more so than normal AP classes. This can be explained through my chemistry/AP Chem teacher. The labs are horrendous and the workload supposedly unbearable in junior year. All AP sciences have a lab class that comes with it. That basically killed my elective choice. Our school has block schedule but for AP science and the lab, we meet every single day.

French is also as bad as AP Chem and again, because of the teacher. We go at lightning fast speed and since it's a foreign language, there's that dreaded oral part of the IB exam. The classes get harder as you progress through your high school years so my class next year is harder than the rest of the junior french class. Lovely.

IB art sounds easy, but that's because no one knows about the 8-10 pages of research paper we must do for each piece of art. There are 15 pieces of art in total that has to be done by the end of the school year, and they're not 11.5x8'' either. They're more like 16x20''.

Of course there are also the regular junior IB classes including IB English III, APUSH (AP US History), TOK (Theory of Knowledge), IB research (these two are semester classes but in all, they make up an elective), and Pre-calc with it's sea of torturous homework. The juniors I see are pratically walking zombies, and they're not making good grades. Those are the NORMAL juniors with 2 electives so needless to say, I'm afraid for my life next year. I currently have straight A's so far but I have a feeling it's going to drop next year. My dream in Paxon is to be valeditorian but it might not happen now. The only thing that might give me an easier time next year, is if I take AP Bio, even though I really desire to take AP Chem (since I want to be a doctor) and all my friends are taking it next year.

I'm just confused and lost right now... I'm willing to make the commitment to hard work but I really want to become valeditorian as well. I know I sound selfish and lazy but unless you've been in IB and have had my teachers, you have no idea. >_< It's crazy I tell you... crazyyyyy!! D: To settle my mind, I'll be going to an AP Chem lecture? on Monday, for students interested in AP Chem next year. Hopefully this will help me make up my mind and I pray to God, he'll protect me next year against overbearing odds and countless nights of lost sleep.

(P.S. Want to be included in my will? I'm writing it this summer because everyone knows we'll all be dead next year from the amount of work, pressure, and stress we'll receive. Feel free to leave your name and I'll see what I can leave you. lol.)

(p.p.s. I actually don't want to die next year. Please don't let this be a jinx. o_O And please, everyone, for your sake and those around you, don't speed or drive drunk. It's very dangerous. One kid from our brother school already died this year because he fell asleep at the wheel, although methinks it was because of studying and doing homework for IB. See? IB really does kill.)

OMGGG!!!!! i got an ipod nano for christmas!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *spazz* my current mp3 holds about 40 songs and the ipod nano has 4GB sooo... IM SO EXCITED! ok, enough of caps. i <3 my aunt and uncle. they're so cool!!! >.< come to think of it, they were also the ones who gave me my nintendo 64.... whoa....

wow. the party yesterday was AMAZINGGGG, and not just because it's the only one i've attended in about 2 years. all the youth group members were invited and it was held at the dulaney's house. there were so many people who showed up! there were at least 30 or so.... because there was 33 gifts for white elephant. :)

ok so first thing first, i went to miyako's house after church. i created my own mii (on her nintendo wii) and it was FABULOUS. he was black, with an afro, makeup (turquois eye shadow and red cheeks), a beard and mustache, red shades, an overweight midget wearing a yellow sweater and red pants with squidward's nose and rock lee's mouth. o and he had a unibrow that were yellow dots. :) i named him squidlee<3. with the <3. ^^

so after watching him for a while, we played supersmash melee!!! omg it was so fun. miyako has SO many games, lol. it's too bad i don't have a cube or else i would've borrowed her games. hahaha. after melee, we played mario party 5. apparently i suck at mini-games. lawl. heyy i've only played it twice before- gotta give me props, k?

and thennnn lam's grandparents picked us up to go to the yg CHRISTmas party. <3 it smelled like fried chicken in their car. XD. mmmm their house is HUGE, which was a shock cuz the rest of the neighborhood was so tiny and shabby. hahaha.

some people who went were lam, ga-hay and ganmo (sp?), ben and katherine, miyako! (duh we rode together. lawl), will, david li, eric, max and irina and brian, jessica and wilson, jane, nina, jonathan and david lu, yang, lili and lixia and hong + their brother, kong, and so many more!~ but those were the only ones i can name off the top of my head. anyways, we went there and socialized, then we got FOOD! it was mostly pizza, there were 2 stacks pizza about 1.3 ft high, some chinese food, and LOTS of desserts. <3

as we ate, we laughed and talked about random stuff. hahaha sooooo fun! we all ate out in the patio (it was screened in so no mosquitoes). mannnn her house is huge. yep. then we played white elephant! i picked a box of cookies. there were so many chocolates/cookies for presents. heheh i brought the huge gourmet cookie set from costco. they were rly good! :O but it was picked 2nd to last. T.T i was so sad. lol. ben picked a frisbee, katherine a giftcard, lili a foot massager! haha! miyako picked a lotion set (even tho the gift was supposed to be unisex), will a harry potter movie, etc... etc... lol it was soooo fun. some ppl stole from others, hehehe. :P LOL and donald got a bruce lee calender that lam rly wanted! XD.

after that we played a game that i forgot what it was called. wait... cranium, i think. neways our group went last, but since the other groups always got their questions right, it took FOREVER to get to us. so our group kinda dispatched before ever gettting a turn... hahaha. miyako took a nap then. i kinda sat out and watched the other ppl getting crazy over cranium... cuddled some soft furry pillows, the good stuff. lol then will and miyako got into a furry pillow fight, will took some random snapshots of me which resulted in me scratching/chasing him around. ANND ben too. david was like, "ur not supposed to do it that way. ur supposed to tail 'em after the party and wait outside their house with a rifle." LAWL. he's halarious. he was aiming his nerfgun at me tho. T.T meanie butt! then wilson, kong, and irina tried ben's skateboard. irina's so cool! she can almost do an olley or w/e that trick is called.

so after the fun and games, a lot of ppl left... i was among the last few to leave. katherine and ben's parents gave me a ride back. lol ben fell asleep in a rly weird position on the floor of their car. katherine gave me a box of free chocolates. :) and the dulaney's had to get rid of their cake b/c there was so much food so i had a free cake from them too! gosh im such a fatass. :D newayyyyzzz, it turns out they had to "go the extra mile", or in my case, a lot of extra miles, to get me home. :( the dulaney's live all the way on the south side, i live all the way on the north side, and they live all the way on the westside. poor parents. D: and i was no help in teh giving of directions b/c im directionless/geographically challenged. ^^'' but in the end, they got me home. they're such nice ppl. :) and my uncle's family already arrived so i was rly happy.

all in all, i had a BLAST! i <3 my yg, my church, god, jesus, my family, friends, etc... ahhh so cotent rite now. i only hope everyone can be as happy as me. merry CHRISTmas eve, everyone! god bless!

I don't really have anything to say.... except for the fact that I *still* havn't completed my AP Euro take-home test, which i was supposed to do 2 days ago. Oh look!  A completely correct grammatical sentence! Omg 2 sentences! Let's see how long I can keep this up. :)

haha nahhh too lazy. alrite.... well... tmrw's church. :) i <3 my church. after that im going to the yg christmas party at mr. dulaney/grace/ms. jenny's house. im brining those fancy groumet chocolate cookies as a gift for the gift-exchange. heh. whoever picks it shall be one lucky dude/dudette! annnnd hopefully me and miyako will be able to get a ride there, cuz my parents also have to pick up my uncle and his family at the same time we have to get going for the party. so it's kind of a bit troubling for them.... -.-''

nothing else happened so far over break.... this is a pretty boring post.... hmmm.... eh. i got nothing. o yea, the makeup remover i was talking about in my last post? doesn't rly work. :/ either that or the mascara's too good cuz i have to scrub and use a LOT of remover/energy to get the mascara off. plus i have to wash my eyes like, 50 times using soap before it's all clean. mmmmm that's y i don't wear makeup everyday. :P plus im too young! >.<

lalala.... ok this is pointless. i think i'll go do my physics extra credit... annnnnd... maybe finish my AP Euro test. yepyep. k, bai.
